Transforming Work of God

What a wonderful depiction of what God is doing in our lives from moment to moment glory to glory shaping us into the likeness of the perfect image of His Son Christ Jesus!

Old anonymous poem.

My life is but a weaving
between my Lord and me,
I cannot choose the colors,
He worketh steadily.

Oftentimes He weaveth sorrow,
and I in foolish pride
forget He sees the upper

and I the under side.

Not till the loom is silent,
and shuttles cease to fly,
will God unroll the canvas
and explain the reason why.

The dark threads are as needful
In the skillful Weaver’s hand,
as the threads of gold and silver
In the pattern He has planned.
